Sur Beach House

Arguably the most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas, Medano Beach is lined with restaurants, bars, hotels, and beach clubs. Here there are the tried and true staples like Mango Deck and Father's Office, and then there are the new kids on the block, like Sur Beach House. Sur is the Bahia Hotel's answer to their need for a beach club, and my new favorite Medano Beach go-to.

Sur Beach House is just a 2 minute walk from the Bahia. As the name suggests, it is right on the beach. They serve breakfast, lunch, and now even dinner– a few times a week they even host yoga upstairs! They also have beach chairs + umbrellas + et al for those bikini-clad gals that want to work on their tan (save room under the umbrella for me!!)

Sur Beach House's entry way– straight through is the restaurant + beach club, upstairs they have yoga and also private events.

I love these hand-woven style light pendants they have at the bar and entry way. It's like an Acapulco chair for a light!

Umbrellas are available on request (yes please!) and Bahia/Sur's sister company: Cabo Sup is just to the left of their "private" beach area.

l'm obsessed with all their details- look at the bathrooms! Mermaid and a merman? Swoon! The coloring is divine.

I love coming here and enjoying a nice cappuccino– or a green juice! If I am with a friend we usually split a few things. Their salads and sushi are great– their bagel and lox is my favorite in Cabo!

I was just at Sur Beach House meeting a friend from my "old life" in San Francisco. I always appreciate it when friends from "home" fit me into their vacation schedules– I know how crazy it can be to plan out things like that when you're here on vacation. I got my usual (cappuccino) and she got a green juice and I'm so happy she insisted on a photo together.
